Hello fellow anglers! Here is what we are catching during the months of December, January, and February.
This time of year is our coldest,
although it may not seem cold to our northern visitors. The air
temperature is anywhere from the 40's - 50's in the morning to the 60's -
low 70's in the afternoon. This keeps our water temperature down in the
50's and 60's. Many days will also be windy so we do most of our trips
Inshore/Backwater.
Inshore/Backwater we are
catching Pompano, Ladyfish, Trout, Jacks, and Bluefish mostly. Depending
on the water temperature we may get Redfish, Snapper, and Snook. Snook
season is closed though starting December 15th.
Offshore will produce fish if
the seas our calm enough to get out. There will be big Redfish and Snook
on some of the wrecks along with Black Drum, Snapper, and Sheepshead.
Spanish Mackerel are usually a constant while fishing offshore. Most of
our Offshore fishing will be inside 7 miles in 30' of water.
We look forward
to fishing with you soon on a Naples Florida
fishing charter!
